Uganda Gorilla Safari - 5 Days Gorilla Tour

DAY1: Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Tour

After a cup of coffee transfer to western Uganda with a stop-over for handicrafts and photos at the Equator. Arrive in Queen Elizabeth national park in the evening with a game drive en route. Some of the wildlife in thepark include Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas, duikers and over 550 bird species. Have a dinner and an overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Budget Institute of ecology.(FB)

Day 2: QENP to Bwindi

After an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queen’s mile in the park , with packed lunch, drive through the Ishasha Sector for viewing tree-climbing lions. Arrive in the evening in Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma homestead/Buhoma community Camp (FB)

Day 3 Bwindi gorilla Tracking

Take a hearty breakfast and undertake gorilla trekking at 08.30 am. Expect to encounter mountain gorilla, buffalo, elephants, the rare golden monkey, black-fronted duikers, bushbucks, giant forest hogs leopards, etc. Time taken to encounter the gorillas ranges between 1 to 8 hours. After the gorilla trek return to the lodge for relaxation. Note: Remember to take packed lunch and drinking water. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma homestead/Buhoma community Camp

Day 4: This day is preserved for your transfer to Kampala.

Day 5: Ngamba Chimp Tracking Excursion

After your breakfast transfer to Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary where you will be able to see chimps feeding. In the evening return to Kampala.
