Bwindi Gorilla Safari and Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safaris | Uganda Tour(4 days)

DAY 1 Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari
Early in the morning after a cup of tea drive towards the west from Kampala and have a stop-over for handicrafts and photos at the Equator. Then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the spectacular Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey. A game drive in park is highly rewarding. Expect to see a variety of animals including Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas, duikers and many antelope species. Have lunch and embark on the sole evening 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga channel into Lake Edward. This channel offers you an opportunity to see at close range the highest concentration of hippos, surrounded by migrant and resident birds (over 550 species) and other animals such as crocodiles drinking and resting at water edges. The cruise offers an excellent platform for 3 activities:- photography, bird watching and game viewing.

Have a dinner and an overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Budget Institute of ecology.(BLD)

Day 2 QENP to Bwindi
Begin the day with a cup of coffee, before embarking on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queen’s mile in the park and expect to see Topi, Kobs, Waterbucks, hyena, leopards, warthogs, cape buffaloes, Elephants, not forgetting the lions and the lots of small animals and birds. Subsequent to the game drive, drive to Bwindi via Maramagambo and Ishasha sector. Driving along the road via Ishasha sector gives you an opportunity to  view animals such as, antelopes, the waterbucks, elephant, buffalo and Kobs. Take a rest at the comfortable Gorilla forest Camp where you will have dinner and an over night.

Day 3 Bwindi gorilla safari
Wake up early in the morning to enter into the gorilla habitat. The rainforest is amazing as it offers an exciting, heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by plenty of animal trails, allowing access for tourists.  The noted mammals here include the endangered mountain gorilla, buffalo, elephants, the rare golden monkey, black-fronted duikers, bushbucks, giant forest hogs leopards as well as other animals. The park is best known for the charming gorillas, where the time and terrain taken varies according to the movements of these awesomeprimates. Observing and spending time with these gentle apes is an exceptional, inspiring, breathtaking and thrilling adventure that leaves you with eternal memories of a justly sole experience. They are peaceful and shy animals to watch and photograph as they interact.

After capturing these interesting moments have dinner and overnight at Buhoma homestead/Buhoma community Camp.

Day 4 After your breakfast transfer to Kampala via Mbarara where trational dishes can be arranged for you for lunch. You will arrive in Kampala before 5.00 p.m local time and immediately enjoy a city tour.
