6 Days Chimpanzee and Gorilla tour. Bwindi and Lake Mburo
Day 1
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport to meet our tour agent who will transfer you to your Hotel. Depending on the time of arrival you may visit some of the tourist places in Kampala. Places to check out are Bahai temple, Uganda museum, Kasubi tombs and many more.
Dinner and overnight at Sheraton Hotel / Serena Hotel.
Day 2
After an early morning breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP via Mbarara, Bushenyi to Kabale. You will have a lunch stop-over in Mbarara and reach the park in the late afternoon. You will go for a walk in the neighbouring communities for traditional entertainment in some of the cultural dances in Uganda.
Dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest Camp / Buhoma community bandas.
Day 3
Go tracking for gorillas in the forest after a briefing at the headquarter. You will leave at 9:00 am to spend in the forest time that is unpredictable. The time ranges between 2-9 hours depending on the movement of these close relatives of man. Finding the gorillas is another struggle of its own kind in that it’s hard to predict the hours you are to spend looking for these apes. Nonetheless finding and spending time with these gorillas erases the hardship you go through finding them “they are exciting”.

Day 4
Go for another trek of gorillas in the forest to spend another one hour with these humble giants. Another stunning experience.
Retire from the trek for dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest Camp / Buhoma community bandas.
Day 5
Drive through the Kabale highlands to Lake Mburo National Park. This drive will offer you panoramic views of the “Switzerland of Africa”. You will reach in the afternoon and go for a boat ride at the lake to look out for game like hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, bushbucks, birds like marabou stork, egrets, herons, African fish eagles and many more.
Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo rest Camp / Mantana Tented Camp.
DAY 6
Very early in the morning go for a game drive in the park in search for more game before you embark on the journey to Kampala. You will drive to Kampala to reach in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at Sheraton Hotel / Serena Hotel.
