Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe - Kampala
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport to meet our tour agent who will transfer you to your Hotel. Depending on the time of arrival you may visit some of the tourist places in Kampala. Places to check out are Bahai temple, Uganda museum, Kasubi tombs and many more. Overnight at Golf Course Hotel / The Lodge
Day 2: Bwindi NP Tour
After an early morning breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP via Ishasha arriving in the evening at Buhoma. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp / Buhoma Lodge / Buhoma community Rest Camp
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking
Go tracking gorillas in the forest after a briefing at the headquarter. You will leave at 8:00 am to spend in the forest time that is unpredictable. The time ranges between 2 - 9 hours depending on the movement of these habituated mountain gorillas. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp / Buhoma Lodge / Buhoma community bandas
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth national park safari
After breakfast transfer to Ishasha Game Reserve for viewing tree-climbing lions. Later procced to Queen Elizabeth national park for your lunch at the lodge as you prepare to get to Kazinga Channel for an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge / Hippo Hill Camp
Day 5: Game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park
As early as 6.00 am rise up for breakfast and immediately enjoy a game drive to the northern sector of the park following the Kasenyi track in search for lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs and a variety of bird species. From there proceed to Fort Portal for an overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel in anticipation of a chimp trek in Kibale Forest national park the following morning.
DAY 6: Chimpanzee trekking
Very early in the morning transfer to Kibale forest headquarters for a chimp trek at 8.00 am. The chimp trekking normally takes 4 hours. After lunch transfer to Kampala arriving in the evening.
