TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Kampala - Bwindi Gorilla Forest
After breakfast transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable or Mgahinga national park depending on the availability of gorilla permits at a particular time.
Have a dinner and an overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp/Lake Kitandara Camp/ Buhoma Homestead (FB) or Kisoro Lodge in case you choose to go to Mgahinga NP
Day2: Tracking Nshongi Gorilla Family
After breakfast and a briefing from the game ranger, he will lead you following the gorilla trails deep into the thick rain forests in search of the mountain gorillas. You will be allowed to spend an hour interacting with these awesome primates as you take photographs. Return to the lodge for your late lunch and later undertake a community walk and visit the Batwa community for cultural entertainment.
Have a dinner and an overnight at Traveler's Rest Hotel - Kisoro
Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Forest - Kampala
After an early breakfast at the camp drive back to Kampala. Have your lunch en route in Mbarara and arrive in the evening in Kampala.
Have dinner and overnight at Imperial Royale Hotel (FB)
Note that though the accommodation types differ, the activities in the package remain the same.
