Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala - Lake Mburo National park
After Breakfast, with the help of our safari guide you will transfer to Lake Mburo national park, en route making a stop-over at the Equator for photography and Geographical facts and later proceeding to Lyantonde for your lunch and arrive in Lake Mburo national park in the afternoon for a game drive.
Have a dinner and an overnight at Mantana Tented Camp (Full Board)
Day 2: Lake Mburo - Bwindi Forest National Park
After early breakfast transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the mountain gorillas! Arrive in Bwindi at Gorilla Resort Camp for a late lunch.
Overnight at Gorilla Resort/Mantana Tented Camp (BLD)
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi.
Gorilla tracking being quite strenuous, it is advisable that you take a heavy breakfast before undertaking this experience. Before 7.30 am converge at the park headquarters for a briefing before commencing gorilla trekking at 8.00 am local time.
All that is required to undertake a gorilla trek is just reasonable degree of fitness and a sturdy pair of walking shoes, as this trek can take long hours of walking depending on the movement of the gorillas that day. Take with you lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences! Its amazing to listen to them grumble to each other, and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male, the silverback; as well as watching them interact and play. Overnight at Gorilla Resort/Mantana Tented camp / Lake Kitandara Camp (BLD)
Day 4: Bwindi - Entebbe
After a morning breakfast, transfer back to Kampala stopping en-route for lunch in Mbarara, arriving in the evening. On arrival in Kampala, your safari guide will transfer you to Imperial Botanical Hotel in Entebbe for a dinner and an overnight.
Day 1 (Punakha / Wangdue)
In Punakha and Wangdue, we will be staying at Punatsangchu Resort or at Meri Phuensum
Thimphu Hotels
In
Thimphu, your lodging will be either at Migmar, Jumolhari or River
View. All the three hotels are of similar standards and feature updated
modern rooms.
Paro ( Day 6, 7 & 8)
In
Paro, the lodging for this trip is either Tenzinling Resort or Tashi
Namgay but when they are filled, we will use Gangtey Palace or Joryanz.
