Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Our tour representative will meet you at Zanzibar airport and transfer you to Stone town. Dinner and an overnight at Zanzibar Serena Inn (luxury)/Chavda Hotel (mid-range)/Jambo Guest House (basic) FB
Day 2: Commence with a guided town tour to the narrow streets of the Old Stone town, where history is still outstanding. Visit the House of Wonders built by Sultan Bargash in 1896, the Palace Museum (Peoples Palace), Dr Livingstones House and the Arab Fort, etc. You will be made speechless by Zanzibars bustling market, winding alleyways, two cathedrals and magnificent mosques. In the evening take a sunset cruise along Stone town waterfront with a stop-over at Forodhani Gardens a great place for soaking up the local atmosphere. Dinner and an overnight at Zanzibar Serena Inn (luxury)/Chavda Hotel (mid-range)/Jambo Guest House (basic) FB
Day 3: After breakfast transfer to Kizimbani Village for a spice tour for you to see spices such as Cinnamon, cloves, Nutmeg, Black pepper and turmeric root in their plantations. Look at the tropical fruits such as custard, Rambutan, Carambola, jack fruit, apple, etc. plus other plants such as lipstick tree, Lemongrass, and Henabush all over the place. Pay a visit to Kidichi Persian baths built by Sultan Said Said Barghash Bin Said in 1850 and Maruhubi Palace Ruins by the same sultan in 1880 bult specifically to accommodate his harem. After lunch transfer to Matemwe Bungalows (accommodation on Half Board basis).
Day 4 & 5: Spend two days for leisure on the beaches of East Coast. Enjoy scuba diving at the beach.
After breakfast transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back to your home country.
