WIDLIFE SAFARI TO SELOUS GAME RESERVE

Selous Game Reserve is famous for its great multitudes of elephants that inhabit its stretch of safari wilderness. This wildlife safari offers you an opportunity to participate in classic style game drives plus walking and boat safaris. We usually organize a flight from Dar es Salaam to Selous national park. Thus, this wildlife safari is not strenuous compared to the rest of wildlife safaris to other national parks. This is a 3 nights, 4 days wildlife safari that will leave you excited.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: our tour representative will transfer you to Dar es Salaam airport for a flight to Selous Game Reserve. Transfer to Rufigi River Camp for your lunch and later embark on a game drive in the Selous Game Reserve.
Dinner and overnight at Rufigi River Camp (FB) 

Day 2: After breakfast go for a morning classic-style game drive in the park. Expect to see southern reedbuck, waterbuck, Greater kudu, bushbucks, rare sable antelope, lions and leopards.

Day 3: After breakfast, with the help of an armed ranger, undertake a walking safari in Selous Game Reserve. The experience of coming closer to animals for photography is memorable. After your lunch at the Camp, go for an afternoon boat safari on Rufigi River System filled with hippos and crocodiles; and a variety of birds including herons, ducks, storks, stilts, and many other waterbirds. Giraffes and elephants are all over the place.

Day 4: Take breakfast and go for a morning game drive in the Selous Game Reserve. After lunch transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Dar es Salaam city.
