NORTHERN TANZANIA CAMPING SAFARIS (6 days – 5 nights)

In this camping safari itinerary, you will be able to visit Lake Manyara national park, Serengeti national park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA).

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: After lunch in Arusha town, with the help of our tour representative, transfer to Lake Manyara national park whose inhabitants include tree climbing lions, hippos, monkeys and flamingoes plus a variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Mto wa Mbu Campsite

Day 2: With a picnic lunch, transfer to Serengeti national park, whose endless plains are inhabited by great herds of wildebeests, gazelles, and zebras plus a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Have your dinner and an overnight in tents in Serengeti plains

Day 3: Undertake a full day game viewing in Serengeti national park.

Day 4: After your breakfast transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route Olduvai Gorge – known after Mary and Louis Leakey’s archeological discoveries of the man’s earliest ancestral remains. You will be served a picnic lunch at the site. Continue the drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Dinner and an overnight at Simba Campsite

Day 5: Descend 2000 feet to the crater’s floor for a half day wildlife tour. Visit the forest areas for elephants and monkeys, the open savannahs for lions and the lake area for flamingoes.

Day 6: Enjoy your breakfast and transfer back to Arusha for your flight back to your home country.
