1-Day Safari to Lake Nabugabo- Ssesse Island with Africa Adenture Tours

Day 1
Early in the morning head to Lake Nabugabo via Masaka road east of Masaka to search for small animals such as tree squirrels, primates like vervet monkey and monitor lizards. Bird life is also prolific - you will look out for Ross’s turaco, African fish eagle, black and white casqued hornbill, broad-billed roller and a variety of sunbirds and weavers. Have lunch and then head to jetty the landing site via Nyendo. Buggala Island which is the more established of the many islands that make up Ssesse Island. On the island you will be able to see the vervet monkeys, bush buck and colobus monkeys which  are seldom present. Expect to watch birds species that are abundant like   hornbills, barbet, turacos, robin-chat and weavers. After the game view you can end the day by carrying out any activity of your choice- building sand castles, swimming, canoeing and volley ball. Dinner and over night at Pearl Gardens Beach/ Panorama Lodge (budget).
