TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival at the Kigali airport, our tour representative will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Mille Collines Hotel - BB
Day 2: A visit to Nyungwe Forest NP
After your breakfast you will transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park. Along the way you may make a stop-over for your lunch and a visit to the National Museum at Butare and Murambi Genocide Memorial Centre. Dinner and overnight at Gisakura Guest House (FB)
Day 3: Trekking Golden Monkeys
Take your breakfast and penetrate the Nyungwe Rain Forest for trekking the colonies of Golden monkeys, Black-and-white Colobus and chimpanzees. Dinner and overnight at Gisakura Guest House (FB)
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe
Enjoy a morning breakfast and go to the forest for chimpanzee trekking. Nyungwe Forest is one of the best places for chimp trekking. After lunch transfer to Bethanie Guest House for your dinner and an overnight.
Day 5: Gorillas in the Mist
After breakfast transfer to the Volcano National Park en route lunch in Gisenyi. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla’s Nest Lodge
Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Volcano National Park
Enjoy your morning breakfast and go for a briefing before undertaking gorilla trekking in Parc National des Volcans. You can at any time of the day encounter the mountain gorillas in the forests depending on their movement that day. You will be allowed to view the gorillas for an hour. This gorilla encounter is the highlight of a tour in Rwanda. You may dedicate the evening to a community visit. Dinner and overnight Gorillas Nest Lodge - FB
Day 7: Touring Karusoke Research Centre
Visit the Karusoke Research Centre established by late Dr Dian Fossey. The Movie “Gorillas in the Mist” was covered from here. The Graveyard of Dian Fossey together with her once beloved Mountain Gorillas stand out as a testimony of her love and dedication towards the conservation and development of mountain gorilla tourism in Rwanda. Day 8: End of Rwanda Tour
Depending on your flight schedule you will transfer from Parc National des Vulcans to Kigali for your lunch in preparation for your flight back to your home country.

PACKING LIST FOR THE RWANDA TOUR
- Good trekking/Hiking boots
- Rain proof rack-sack on the gorilla trek for your camera
- Sun hat or a poncho in case of rain in the gorilla forest.
- Long pants and long sleeved shirt
- Enough film or Memory for the Digital Cameras.
- Gloves for protection against nettles on the gorilla tour.
