RWANDA PRIMATES TREKKING SAFARI - 7 DAYS GORILLAS AND CHIMPANZEE TRACKING IN RWANDA

A primates tour of this nature will enable you visit Parc National des Volcans well known for gorilla tracking, Nyungwe Forest national park famous for primates trekking which target chimpanzees, and different monkey species; and a wildlife safari in Akagera national park.

BRIEF TOUR ITINERARY FOR THE TRIP

Day 1: Kigali to Volcano National Park
After breakfast transfer from Serena Hotel in Kigali to Ruhengeri. Have a community walk for some traditional entertainment. You will be picked from your Hotel Kigali and be driven to Ruhengeri. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest Hotel/ Kinigi House

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park of Rwanda Gorilla tracking in Parc de Volcanoes begins in the morning at 9.00 am local time. Accessing the mountain gorillas may take you between 2 to 8 hours. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Next Hotel/Kinigi Guest House 

Day 3: Primates tour to Nyungwe Forest
Transfer to Nyungwe via Kigali and stay an overnight at Gisakura Guest House.

Day 4: Forest Nature walk
After breakfast undertake a forest walk in search of primates and birds. Dinner and overnight at Gisakura Guest House

Day 5: Cultural Museum and Genocide sites visiting
After breakfast, visit Butare Museum, the Botanical Gardens, a cultural museum, genocide site and handicraft shops. Proceed to Kigali for your lunch, dinner and overnight at Serena Hotel

Day 6: Akagera Wildlife tour
After Breakfast transfer to Akegera wildlife Park. Carry out a game drive in search of savannah wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Akagera

Day 7: End of Rwanda Tour
After a morning game drive return to Kigali for your flight back to your home country.
