3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari - Volcanoes Gorilla Safari
Gorilla tourism in Rwanda is a legacy of late Dian Fossey. On December 26, 1985, Dian Fossey was left murdered in her cabin. Up to now her death is still unsolved. It is alleged that her killer was a poacher who was angry because of her commitment to stop gorilla poaching. Dian was buried next to Digit in the gorilla cemetery. Rwanda's gorilla tourism has developed tremendously after the 1994 Rwanda genocide.
