10 Days Rwanda &Tanzania Tour

Day 1: Airport pickup
Our tour guide will welcome you at Kigali International air port and transfer you to your hotel for your dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/Kinigi Guest House.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking tour
Very early in the morning embark on a gorilla trek in the light rainforest at the slopes of the Virunga volcanoes in Volcanoes National Park. The time you expect to encounter the mountain gorillas is unpredictable. Lucky ones may even see them in just an hour.

Day 3: Air port transfer
Our tour guide will transfer you to Kigali international Airport for a flight to Arusha in Tanzania. Dinner and overnight in

Day 4: Arusha Tarangire National Park
In the morning transfer to Tarangire National Park. Across Tarangire River you will have a chance to see the Big Five including a number of elephant, buffalo, lions, etc. This is Tanzanias third largest national park and is famous for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape with a wide range of wildlife feeding beneath them. Dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Roika Tented Lodge

Day 5: Ngorongoro Wildlife Tour
After a morning game drive and breakfast, drive across the wheat plains of Karatu. You need some picnic lunch along the way. Arrive at the the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge for your dinner and overnight in the evening.

Day 6: Game viewing in the Ngorongoro Crater Area
Spend a full day game viewing in the incredible Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the crater floor. Since very few animals migrate in and out of the crater, expect to see lions, elephants, Hippos, Jackals, Zebras, antelopes and other species. Dinner and overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge

Day 7: Oldvai Gorge tour Serengeti
Drive via Oldvai Gorge en route to Serengeti. Olduvai archeological site is remembered after the Leakeys discovered the remains of Australopithecus, Homo Habilis and Homo Erectus leading to a great study of evolution of the human species. Enjoy a game drive through the park, arriving in time for late lunch. Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Wildlife Lodge

Day 8: Serengeti wildlife safari
Spend a full day exploring this African vast park with the wonderful Wildebeests migrations. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Wildlife Lodge

Day 9: Lake Manyara National Park tour
After breakfast drive with picnic lunch to Lake Manyara National Park for an excellent game drive. The lush vegetation and tropical forest of giant fig and mahogany trees is home to elephant, hippos, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, a variety of antelope and primates, among others. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Wildlife Hotel

Day 10: Lake Manyara - Arusha
After breakfast undertake a short game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Return to Arusha for your scheduled flight to your next destination.
