Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival for a safari in Rwanda
Upon your arrival at Kigali airport, you will be welcomed by our safari company representative who will transfer you to Parc Nationale Des Volcans. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla Nest or Kinigi Guest House

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking
After an early morning breakfast, undertake gorilla trekking in the forests on the edge of the Virunga Mountain. Encountering the mountain gorillas may take between 2 hours to a full day depending on the movement of these primates. In the afternoon transfer to Lake Kivu. Dinner and overnight at Mosantu Hotel

Day 3: Exploring Lake Kivu
After breakfast enjoy a boat cruise to Gishamwana Island. The island is rich in coffee plantations. Return to the shores and enjoy sunbathing before driving back to Kigali. While in Kigali visit the Kigali Genocide memorial center. Depending on your flight schedule, may transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
Note: In case you wish to visit the newly erupted Nyiragongo Volcano near Lake Kivu we can arrange an extra day for this activity.
