Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls Safari in Uganda: 5days( 4 nights)

Day One
Leave early in the morning for western Uganda as you go through the western arm of the Great Rift Valley and the foothills of the Mountains of the Moon (Mountain Rwenzori) to the Ishasha boarder post in the south. Have a stop-over at the Equator for photographs and a lunch enroute in Mbarara. Then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the park go for a launch cruise at Kazinga channel to view Hippos, buffaloes, both migrant and resident birds including the rare shoe bill.

Retreat for dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Hostel.

Day Two
Early in the morning after a cup of coffee/tea go for a game drive to catch up with the early risers and predators retuning to their hide outs. This drive will reward you with a view of animals such as Lions, elephants, leopards, spotted hyenas, bushbucks, stripped jackals, the comical warthogs and of course some birds. Retire for break fast and rest as you prepare for a drive through the crater areas for scenery and more game sighting as you proceed to Fort Portal. After lunch drive through the crater areas for scenery and more game viewing as you proceed to Fort Portal.

Dinner and overnight Fort Motel / Ndali Lodge/ Toro Resort.

Day Three
Early in the morning after breakfast drive to Murchison falls National Park, with lunch enroute.   When you reach Paraa you may decide to stay at Red Chilli Camp or cross by ferry to Paraa Safari Lodge on the northern bank of River Nile for dinner and overnight.

Day Four
Greet the day with a cup of coffee early in the morning as you proceed for a game drive on any of Buligi, Albert or Queens tracks north of the river Nile. You may also visit Nyamisika cliffs and have picnic breakfast (optional). On this drive you are able to sight animals that are sole to African savannah such as antelopes, lions, elephant, Uganda Kobs and the giraffe. Have lunch and proceed for a boat cruise on the River Nile, which will take you to the bottom of the thundering falls, to sight elephants, buffaloes, huge crocodile and hippos not forgetting a variety of bird species for the birders such as bee-eaters, cormorants, kingfishers, ducks, fish eagle, skimmers, and the rare shoebill. Retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day Five
Early in the morning before leaving the park take a drive to the top of the falls for the awesome sight of the Nile as it forces its way through a rocky gap barely six meters wide.
This is the point where the Nile River explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid falls. Have a lunch picnic at the top before you set off for Kampala.
End this Tour

All our Uganda tours begin and end in Kampala. Airport pickups or drop offs are provided at $50 per journey. Accommodation of your choice will be arranged on arrival and if necessary prior to your departure. Executive, mid-range and budget facilities are all available in Kampala and Entebbe.
