Uganda safari with Africa Adventure Safaris
Day 1
After a cup of tea as you set off south east of Entebbe to the 50 ha. Ngamba Island that forms part of the Kome archipelago for monitor lizards, otters and some of 154 bird species. This trip should coincide with the pre-arranged supplementary feeding time at 11:00. At this time the chimpanzees come within meters of raised walkway offering an excellent opportunity to observe and photograph one of our closest animal relatives. Arriving early at the island enables you to explore the Islands.
After exploring the wildlife at Ngamba Island, drive off to Ssezibwa falls which lies 35 km east of Kampala. Have lunch enroute. The place is reputed to have been a favourite spot of Kabakas Mwanga and Mutesa II both of which planted trees there that still flourish today. Here you have a glance at the pretty falls particularly during the rainy season and its fringing trees which harbour an interesting selection of bird species. After the day drive back to Kampala for a dinner and an overnight at Hotel Africana/ Speke Hotel.
