Malindi Marine National Park is situated in South Eastern part of Kenya on the countrys magnificent Indian Ocean coastline, in Malindi town, which is about110 km North of Mombasa. The park is endowed with magnificent resources such as fringing reefs, coral gardens in the lagoons, sea grass beds, mangroves, mudflats, and high fish diversity, marine mammals (like dolphins), turtles and various species of shorebirds.
The area temperature ranges from 20-300 c and rainfall from 200mm 700 mm. There are two rain seasons and long ones being March & April, while short rains are between November / December
