5 days Uganda Flying Safari - Kibale, Semliki Wildlife Safari Tour

Day 1: Transfer to Kajansi for a flight to Kasese
Transfer to Kanjansi airstrip or you will be met at Entebbe airport for your flight to Kasese. You will fly over the Mountains of the Moon to view snow capped peaks of Stanley and Magherita on a clear day. Watch out for twisty roads leading to Semliki, the Rwenzori Mountains, rift valley, Bakonjo homesteads and the Sempaya Hot springs over head. Land near the Semuliki Safari Lodge. You will then go for a night game drive to look out for nocturnal animals and nightjars which are rare to see during the day.

Have a dinner and an overnight at Semliki Safari Lodge

Day 2: Visit Sempaya Hotsprings. Tour to Kibale Forest
Go for a morning drive to Sempaya hot springs and continue to Kibale Park headquarters at Kanyanchu. Embark on tracking Chimpanzee, the Red colobus monkeys, white and black monkeys, pottos and bush babies. In the later afternoon visit Bigodi swamp an Eco tourism site to see a lot of bird life.

Dinner and over night at Mantana luxury camp/ Ndali Lodge / Kayankyu tourist centre.

Day3: Visit Local Fishing Villages on Lake Albert. Primates tours
After breakfast visit local fishing villages on Lake Albert. Take a boat ride on this lake, viewing a lot of bird species including the rare shoebill. The afternoon can be dedicated to a community walk.

Day4: Primates Tours
In the morning, carryout nature walk that will provide you with opportunities of primates including baboons and monkeys. Visit the Batwa communities who used to occupy this national park but now resettled to lead a normal life.

Day 5: Return Flight to Entebbe
Have breakfast and undartake a nature walk in the forest and then transfer to Kasesse airstrip for your charter flight back to Entebbe.
