5 Days Bwindi Gorillas & Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari

Detailed Itinerary

Day1: A flight to Bwindi
Set off for Kajjansi airstrip and board a chartered aircraft to Kayonza airfield near Bwindi.. The flight offers you with beautiful sceneries of terraced hills of Kigezi commonly referred to as the 'Switzerland of Africa', Mafuga forest and Virungas mountains of Congo and Rwanda. Overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp- executive / Kitandara Camp for mid range (FB)

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking
After a morning breakfast walk to the park headquarters at Buhoma for briefing from the park rangers and then begin the gorilla trek at 8.30 am with help of the rangers and porters who will support you physically while climbing the slippery terrain. The activity takes about 2- 8 hours or more depending on the movement of these gorillas on that particular day. Gorlla tracking is quite strenous but seeing Gorilla play, feed and interact is an exciting momment to every visitor to Uganda. Overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp- luxury/ Kitandara Camp for mid range (FB)

Day 3: Drive via Ishasha for tree-climbing lions
Early after breakfast, drive to Ishasha - the southern part of Queen Elizabeth. A game drive in this sector will enable you to spot tree-climbing lions, buffalo, elephant, antelopes, Uganda kob and baboons along the road. Then proceed to Mweya Safari Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (FB)

Day 4: Game Drive in QENP
Embark on an early morning game drive to catch up with the early risers and predators returning to their hide outs. Watch out for leopards, hyenas, lions, buffaloes, bushbucks, waterbuck and a stripped jackal. Later in the afternoon go fora launch trip on the Kazinga channel, to look out for hippos, buffaloes and antelopes and a variety of bird species at the shores.

Day 5: End of Uganda Safari
Fly back to Entebbe airport or Kajansi landing site. You will then be transferred to your hotel.

Dinner and overnight at Sheraton Hotel / Serena Hotel.
