5 Days Chimpanzee Gorilla Safari

Day 1: Kampala to Kibale
After an early morning breakfast transfer to Kibale Forest via Mityana to Fort Portal, (a 5 hours drive). You may have your lunch in Fort Portal and proceed to Ndali Safari Lodge. You may bird in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary that very afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Safari Lodge

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest
After breakfast, transfer to Kanyanchu headquarters for briefing before commencing chimpanzee tracking. Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest is an exciting experience. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge or Primates Lodge (FB)

Day 3: Kibale to Bwindi

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for gorilla trekking. Drive through the Southern sector of Queen Elizabeth the Ishasha Game Reserve in search of tree-climbing lions. Arrive in Buhoma for your late lunch at Gorilla Resort Lodge. In the afternoon you may visit the Pygmy Community for traditional performance. Overnight at Gorilla Resort or Buhoma Community Bandas (FB)

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
Take a morning breakfast and go for a briefing at Buhoma the park headquarters before starting the gorilla trek. Encountering the mountain gorillas in the natural environment is the most exciting wildlife experience any visitor to Africa can testify. Return to the lodge for relaxation. Overnight at Gorilla Resort or Buhoma Community Bandas (FB)

Day 5: Departure
Take early morning breakfast and head back to Kampala.
