5 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tracking / Trekking and Ishasha Queen Elizabeth ParkDay1
On your arrival at the airport you will be transfered to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park by a chartered plane with the guidance of our company representative Land at Kayonza airstrip some 20km away from Bwindi. If you are using a big plane landing may be in Ishasha Queen Elizabethwhere you will be transferred to Bwindi. The flight offers you with beautiful sceneries of terraced hills of Kigezi commonly referred to as Switzerland of Africa, Mafuga forest and Virungas mountains of Congo and Rwanda.
Over night at Gorilla Resort camp Camp- executive/ Kitandara Camp for mid range
Day2
Go for a full day gorilla tracking in the park. The activity takes about 2- 8 hours or more depending on the movement of these humble primates on that particular day. The activity is strenuous but seeing Gorilla feed and interact erases the poor memories of the taxing gorilla tracking.
Over night at Gorilla Forest Camp- executive / Kitandara Camp for mid range
Day3
Early after breakfast, drive to Ishasha the southern part of Queen Elizabeth. A game drive through Ishasha Game Resrve will reward you with tree climbing lions, numerous antelope species, buffaloes, baboons, etc.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 4
Go for an early morning game drive to catch up with the early risers and predators returning to their hide outs. Watch out for leopards, hyenas, lions, buffaloes, bush bucks, water buck and a stripped jackal. Later in the afternoon go for Launch trip on the Kazinga channel, to look out for hippos, buffaloes and antelopes and variety of bird species at the shores.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (Full Board)
Day 5
Fly back to Entebbe airport or Kajansi landing site. You will then be collected to be transferred to your hotel.
