3 Days Birding In Kibale National Park.
Day 1
After breakfast transfer to Kibale forest from Kampala towards the western part of Uganda through Mubende and Fort Portal. The journey offers stunning sceneries which include mountains, plantations and traditional homesteads that are worth photographing and seeing.
Have a lunch enroute and reach Kibale in the afternoon. Go for late evening birding at the entrances of the park/ Forest.

Dinner and overnight at  Mantana luxury camp/ Ndali Lodge / Kayankyu tourist centre.

Day 2
After breakfast, set off for Kibale Forest in search for birds. The search goes along the trails used for chimp tracking thereby carrying out two activities at ago i.e. birding and chimp tracking.  The Kanyankyu area offers birds like African go-shwak, the majestic crowned eagle, masked apalis, grey parrots and many more. Have a lunch picnic in the forest and later in the afternoon go for birding at Bigodi Swamp. Expect birds such as the threatened sitatunga and shoebill, brown headed Tchagra, papyrus canary, mosque swallow  and many more. Dinner and overnight at Mantana luxury camp/ Ndali Lodge / Kayankyu tourist centre.

Day 3
Early in the morning, take a forest walk to catch up with some of the nocturnal birds you did not see the previous day, before embarking on a journey back to Kampala. Arrive in Kaqmpala in the evening for a dinner and an overnight at Sheraton Hotel/ Hotel Africana.
